Lender Environmental Insurance Solutions (LEIS) is solely focused on lender environmental insurance. LEIS leads with experience and innovation, and manages and offers the only true lender environmental portfolio insurance product available in the U.S.
LEIS, a separate division of UCPM, is dedicated to working directly with the commercial lending community. LEIS environmental insurance professionals understand commercial real-estate backed lending and the needs of lenders offering such services. Key people involved have over 40 years combined experience with lender environmental insurance. An in-house IT team developed and maintains the portfolio program portal, which is fully automated and provides users with efficiency throughout all aspects of their lending activities.

Since joining UCPM in 1996, Tim has been involved in marketing, underwriting, software development, brokering, claims and accounting. He has been instrumental in UCPM’s growth from a small family business with four employees to a recognized leader in environmental insurance with more than 80 employees.
From the beginning, Tim loved the thrill of competition and the transformative potential of technology. These two passions have had an enormous impact on the success UCPM has experienced and has led to the creation of LEIS to serve the needs of lenders offering commercial real-estate backed loans. Tim designed and built UCPM’s first CRM database in 1996 and has been involved in countless technology innovations since then including the LEIS online portfolio online portal. While many carriers develop technology to save time only for themselves, UCPM & LEIS invests in technology that creates a competitive advantage for our clients. Tim’s passion for doing things a better way continues to drive the rapid pace of evolution at UCPM & LEIS.

Prior to joining UCPM as an executive vice president, John held a variety of positions in the risk management and insurance industries. He offers a diverse background in property & casualty insurance, risk management, engineering, finance and business ownership.
John started the environmental practice for a top 50 broker and as the Environmental Practice Leader developed several unique, complex environmental programs from start-up and became a national leading producer for Lender Environmental Insurance.
Since 2000, John’s primary business has been the management and placement of Environmental Insurance products with a large part of that focus on work with commercial lenders.
Robert Barker

Rob manages the Lender Environmental Insurance Program and is responsible for the lender environmental insurance portfolio program as well as for single transactions deals submitted outside of the portfolio program.
Rob joined UCPM in 1999 and has served in a variety of roles including underwriting and placing environmental insurance. Rob transitioned to the Lender division in 2019 and since then has been dedicated to the daily management of lender environmental insurance operations to ensure a positive and responsive experience for LEIS clients.
